In4Matic is seeking an experienced technical lead to drive a migration initiative, combining hands-on development with technical leadership. You will own the application landscape within the team and guide both new initiatives and maintenance of existing solutions.

You will collaborate with developers, business analysts, and infrastructure teams to deliver robust, maintainable outcomes while embedding security and best practices across the stack.

Our client is looking for an experienced technical lead to support a migration initiative involving several essential information tools that underpin core business processes. This opportunity combines hands‑on development with technical leadership, making it well suited to someone who enjoys guiding a team while staying closely involved in the code and solution design.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will take end-to-end technical ownership of the application landscape within the team and help steer both new initiatives and the maintenance of existing solutions. You will work closely with developers, functional experts, business analysts, the portfolio architect, and infrastructure teams to deliver robust and maintainable outcomes.

• Provide technical leadership, coaching, and guidance to the development team.
• Take final technical responsibility for the software systems within the application team.
• Contribute directly to development work, including coding, feature delivery, and bug fixing.
• Prepare technical deliverables such as release documentation, infrastructure requests, and deployment materials.
• Handle configuration change requests in coordination with infrastructure teams.
• Design scalable, reliable, and maintainable systems aligned with architectural standards.
• Work with analysts to refine requirements and translate them into solid technical solutions.
• Perform code reviews and support quality assurance activities.
• Monitor and improve application performance where needed.
• Embed security best practices into technical decisions and solution design.
• Evaluate and integrate technologies that strengthen the platform and support business goals.
• Lead the resolution of complex technical issues and provide expert‑level support.

Technical Skills

The ideal background includes strong expertise in .NET-based application development and modern Microsoft technologies, with a solid understanding of software delivery and integration practices.

• Expert knowledge of .NET development
• Strong experience with ASP.NET Web API
• Experience with authentication and authorization concepts such as JWT, OIDC, and claims
• Knowledge of Azure Service Bus
• Experience with Blazor
• Strong command of C# / .NET Core / .NET 10
• Experience in DevOps server management
• Proficiency with Git
• Experience with Microsoft Azure
• Understanding of networking concepts
• Knowledge of patterns and best practices
• Experience with REST, Swagger/OpenAPI
• Strong awareness of security topics such as OWASP, OAuth, and OpenID
• Experience with SQL Server
• Experience with unit and integration testing

Practical Information

• Work arrangement: on‑site in Brussels at least two days per week, with telework allowed within Belgium
