Jobtailor in Belgium seeks a senior technical-commercial professional to develop and position its recycling offering, benchmarking against competitors and shaping market positioning.

The role supports pricing strategies through techno-economic assessments, drives key partnerships across the value chain, and translates customer requirements into robust technical-commercial solutions.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in engineering, chemistry, or materials science.
• Approximately 5 years of experience in a technical, commercial role.
• Affinity with metallurgy, recycling, waste handling or industrial operations is a strong asset.
• Experience in metals, recycling, chemicals or related sectors is highly relevant.
• Commercial and interpersonal skills; strong problem-solving and techno-economic reasoning.

Requirements

• Experience in metals, recycling, chemicals or related sectors is highly relevant
• Commercial and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving and techno-economic reasoning skills
• Customer-oriented with strong relationship-building capabilities
• Fluent in English (Dutch required for Belgium-based role; French/German is a plus)
