Job summary

OneSource Consulting is seeking a Technical Data Analyst to design, implement, and industrialize data solutions for Customs & Excise. The role acts as a Python competency center within the ICT DATA team, focusing on data pipelines, advanced SQL, and BI tooling.

You will design and maintain data pipelines, work with Data Architects on analytical models, and ensure performance and reliability through CI/CD deployment and containerized environments.

Qualifications

• Python development and Python 3.x proficiency.
• SQL and advanced SQL skills.
• Experience with Pandas and data manipulation.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience designing data models with data architects.
• Experience in CI/CD deployment of data pipelines.
• Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Cognos, Tableau, Qlik, etc.).
• Knowledge of DB2 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy and maintain Python data pipelines on containerized environments.
• Collaborate with Data Architects on analytical data models and datamarts.
• Analyze databases and understand business concepts embedded in data.

Job description

The Technical Data Analyst contributes to the design, implementation, and industrialization of data solutions within the ICT DATA team to meet the business requirements of Customs & Excise. The ICT DATA team also acts as a Python competency center for the pillar.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS :

• Python Development
• Python 3.x
• SQLAlchemy
• REST APIs
• Packaging Python (pip, poetry or uv)
• Unit and Integration Testing

DATA ENGINEERING & ANALYTICS

• Design, development and maintenance of Data Pipelines
• Advanced SQL
• Experience with Pandas
• Analysis of complex database structures
• Technical database analysis and reverse engineering
• Ability to understand business concepts embedded in data
• Ability to collaborate with Data Architects on the design of analytical data models (datamarts, report tables,…)
• Query performance tuning and optimization
• Experience with at least one reporting or Business Intelligence tool (Power BI, Cognos, Tableau, Qlik, etc.)

DEVOPS & PLATFORM

• GitLab

• Deployment, operation and maintenance of Python data pipelines on containerized environments

LANGUAGES

• French or Dutch, combined with a good command of English (mandatory)
