Kono Consultants NV is seeking a Technical Data Analyst with Python skills to join our Brussels team. You will work on data engineering pipelines using Python, Pandas, and Polars, and write complex SQL queries to optimize performance. Docker containerization, GitLab CI/CD, and basic CI/CD practices are part of the role.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of production experience and is fluent in Dutch or French with technical English. The position is hybrid with two days onsite in Brussels.

Technical Data Analyst with Python skills

We are looking for a consultant with solid hands‑on experience in Data Engineering with Python, particularly using data processing libraries such as Pandas and Polars.

We also need strong SQL skills, including complex queries and performance optimization.

On the DevOps side, practical knowledge of Docker for containerizing Python applications, along with Git, GitLab and basic CI/CD experience, should be sufficient.

The most important thing is to find someone with real production experience in Python Data Engineering and strong SQL expertise, rather than someone who simply has theoretical knowledge of a wide range of technologies.

FastAPI, Kubernetes, OpenShift and other technologies can remain nice‑to‑have skills, but they are not mandatory.
