Job summary

NextLink Group is seeking a Clinical Data Platform Architect to lead the design and governance of a new Clinical Data Layer within a pharmaceutical context. You will ensure architectural quality, governance, scalability, and alignment with enterprise standards while coordinating with partners and internal stakeholders.

The role emphasizes hands-on architectural leadership, overseeing Databricks, Unity Catalog, data lineage, and data contracts, with a strong focus on governance and regulatory

Qualifications

• Ideally 8+ years of relevant experience in clinical or data platform implementations.
• StrongAzure Cloud Architecture expertise and enterprise architecture understanding.
• Experience with Databricks, Unity Catalog and data governance concepts.

Responsibilities

• Review technical designs and architecture proposals.
• Challenge solution designs from implementation partners.
• Align solutions with enterprise architecture standards.
• Coordinate technical discussions with vendors and stakeholders.

Our client is building a new governed Clinical Data Layer(CDL) to modernize the clinical data ecosystem.

A technical implementation partner will deliver theplatform; this contingent will act as a technical counterpart, ensuringarchitectural quality, governance, compliance, scalability, and alignment with ourstandards.

The role is closer to a Technical Lead / Data PlatformArchitect than to a traditional Technical Analyst position.
