Job summary

Rud Pedersen Public Affairs in Brussels is seeking a motivated trainee to join our Technology practice for a 6-month paid internship. You will work with our Brussels team on policy monitoring, research on EU developments, and event support.

Ideal candidates have exposure to EU institutions or public affairs, a relevant degree, and strong English with another EU language. This is a great chance to grow in a fast-paced consultancy environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with or in EU institutions, governments, consultancies or European associations/federations.
• Education in a relevant field.
• Policy knowledge in Technology is desirable.
• Proficiency in English with a working knowledge of another EU language.

Responsibilities

• Follow EU developments and perform initial research on policy issues for clients.
• Support the team with legislative, regulatory and press monitoring.
• Help to organise and execute events.
• Contribute to client teams and suggest improvements in servicing clients’ research needs.
• Participate in external events and build relationships with external actors at an appropriate level.
• Develop competence in undertaking public affairs tasks for clients.
