Job summary

Huxley in Brussels is seeking a Tech Lead Java Developer to start on 1 December. You will lead a development team, architect and deliver Java applications using Spring Boot and microservices, and ensure robust REST APIs and secure coding practices.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong prioritization, and a passion for adopting new technologies to keep applications up to date; a hybrid work setup in Brussels is available and this is a long-term opportunity.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Java (latest versions), Spring Boot and Microservices.
• Experience with REST APIs, Docker and application security.
• Full Stack experience (Angular is a plus).
• Ability to lead, coach and support a development team.
• Strong prioritization skills and proactive mindset.
• Interest in new technologies and keeping applications up to date.
