AXA Belgium is undergoing a major modernization within Corporate Insurance IT, building a coherent set of applications around a common domain. The team uses Angular on the front-end, Java on the back-end, Cobol for contract management, and runs in AWS with GitHub-based workflows.

The role involves collaborating with Epics, Solution Architects and analysts, delivering high-quality code, and driving improvements in development processes while partnering with stakeholders across the organization.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Experience in complex technical or functional environments is a plus.
• Experience in banking or insurance domain is a plus.
• Analytical skills - translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Agile skills - Experience with Scrum ceremonies.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with Epic Manager, Solution Architect, Requirement Engineers, System Analysts, Developers and BA’s.
• Code quality: write clean, well-documented code; conduct code reviews.
• Effective communication: clearly articulate progress to team and stakeholders.
• Team collaboration: work within a big team, share knowledge and adapt to dependencies.
• Proactive problem-solving: identify issues early and propose solutions.
