IKEA Antwerpen seeks a Food Team Leader with a Lean focus to guide a service-driven team and translate the store plan into actionable tasks. You will coach colleagues, drive Lean improvements, and ensure a clean, inviting department with correctly priced products for a superior customer experience.

You will work with management to hit financial targets and foster a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork.

Responsabilités

• Translate the store business plan into a clear action plan for your department and implement actions.
• Support co-managers in drawing up an annual schedule with financial targets and monitor progress.
• Report monthly and annual results.
• Support management in identifying opportunities and improvements and follow up actions.
• Support departments in following up and implementing actions to meet financial targets.
• Inspire, motivate and engage your team to achieve shared targets.
• Ensure the department is clean, attractive, and correctly priced; keep products in perfect condition.

As a Teamleader with focus on LEAN, you will:

• Translate the business plan of the store into a clear action plan for your department and you implement the various actions
• Support your co-managers in drawing up an annual schedule with the financial targets and you help follow it up
• Report the monthly and annual results
• Support the management team in discovering new opportunities and improvements and you follow up the actions
• Support the various departments in following up and implementing actions to achieve the financial targets
• Inspire, motivate and engage your team to achieve the targets set together

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Food Team Leader, you will work with your team to create a safe, healthy, sustainable food experience for both the customer and the co-worker.

• You ensure your department is clean, attractive, and inviting. You also ensure our products are always in perfect condition and correctly priced.
• You contribute and support the implementation of the store business plan and IKEA.
• You coach and develop your team to ensure routines and safety requirements are followed
• As a team leader you support your team on the floor and also deal with administrative tasks

Within the LEAN focus:

• Own the Lean ways of working agenda: Lead and coordinate the Lean program while engaging and coaching leaders and co-workers
• Drive business impact: Translate wastes into fact-based business potential, follow up results, and report transparently to management
• Connect to business: Ensure continuous improvement is linked to the unit's business plan, KPIs, and financial performance
• Sustain improvements: Integrate Lean into everyday decision-making to embed lasting improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost across all processes
