Job summary

MPL is looking for a Team Leader Food to guide our forwarders through daily operations. You’ll be a hands-on people manager, setting clear expectations, dividing tasks, and stepping in where needed.

Fluent in Dutch and English, you’ll build strong client relationships, motivate your team to grow, and collaborate with the Business Unit Manager to deliver reliable, value‑driven logistics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Solid experience in forwarding (import & export).
• Experience as a team lead in the maritime sector (food business) is a big plus.
• Ability to build and motivate a team to work toward a common goal.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
• Problem solving is in your DNA; integrity and positivity matter.
