Job summary

Let's Work Inhouse - Barias is seeking a hands-on production supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations on the production floor in Belgium. You will lead a small team, including operators and forklift drivers, and actively participate in machine setup and operating tasks.

You will monitor quality, safety, and efficiency, ensuring production planning is followed and checks on products and packaging are performed.

Qualifications

• Experience in coordinating a production team on a floor with multiple machines
• Ability to monitor quality, safety, efficiency, and production planning
• Hands-on approach to machine setup and adjustments
• Proven ability to identify and resolve malfunctions

Responsibilities

• You monitor the operation of 3 automatic packaging machines
• You manage 3 operators and 2 forklift drivers and provide guidance throughout their work
• You actively work on the machines yourself and step in wherever needed
• You set up, monitor, and adjust the packaging machines
• During production, you monitor quality, safety, efficiency, and production planning
• You carry out checks on products and packaging
• You identify malfunctions and deviations and resolve them yourself whenever possible
• You ensure an efficient distribution of tasks and clear communication within the team
• You are the first point of contact for employees on the production floor
