Job summary

BDO Belgium is seeking a Tax professional to join the Tax Financial Services team, focused on the regulatory challenges facing the financial sector. You will lead end-to-end engagements on QI, AEOI and FASTER, advise clients on regulatory impact, coordinate with IT and finance teams, and coach junior colleagues while supporting business development efforts.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Law, Economics, Taxation, Finance or equivalent.
• ~5+ years’ experience in taxation and/or tax regulatory frameworks in the financial sector.
• Strong tax technical knowledge of regulatory frameworks; familiarity with tax authorities a plus.
• Data-driven reporting and collaboration with IT teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end tax regulatory engagements across advisory, reporting, audit, and outsourcing.
• Act as primary client contact and provide technical advice with practical, risk-based solutions.
• Assess impact of products and processes; design implementation strategies and compliance programs.
• Coach consultants and support business development initiatives.
