Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager in Legal & Regulatory for Financial Services in Belgium. You will lead regulatory advisory work for financial institutions, navigating complex rules and driving compliant business outcomes.

You will collaborate with C-level executives, compliance and legal teams, and mentor junior colleagues while expanding EY’s financial services regulatory services across Belgium and abroad. Fluency in Dutch/French and English is essential.

Qualifications

• Belgian Master's degree in Law.
• 5–9 years’ experience in consultancy, law firm or financial institution.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and willingness to learn.
• In-depth, creative analysis to find pragmatic client solutions.
• Outstanding client stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Excellent Dutch and/or French; fluent English.
• Managerial and commercial skills or willingness to develop them.
• Strong team spirit with autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Work with clients to navigate regulations, ensuring compliance and business success.
• Provide strategic legal and regulatory advice and drive regulatory implementation projects.
• Collaborate with C-level, compliance and legal teams of financial institutions.
• Lead and coordinate project delivery, guiding team members day-to-day.
• Support business development and go-to-market efforts, expanding EY’s regulatory services.
