Job summary

Confidential Brussels-based law firm affiliated with one of France's leading business law firms is seeking a qualified lawyer to join its tax practice in Brussels. You will work under the tax partner on diverse matters, manage existing client files, and contribute to the growth of the firm's tax activity.

The candidate should have 6–9 years in tax law, be bilingual in French and English with Dutch skills, and demonstrate rigorous client-facing abilities and an interest in litigation and judicial

• Qualified lawyer with 6–9 years of experience in a recognised law firm or major accountancy firm.
• Solid expertise in tax law, particularly tax litigation.
• Fluent in French and English; good command of Dutch for reviewing case law and literature.

• Work under the supervision of the tax partner on a variety of tax matters.
• Manage files for existing clients and contribute to developing the firm's tax activity.
• Analyze complex tax issues and disputes, formulate clear legal arguments, and propose practical solutions tailored to clients.
• Maintain close client relationships and handle procedural aspects of tax litigation.

• You are a qualified lawyer with 6 to 9 years of professional experience gained within a recognised law firm or a major accountancy firm.
• You have solid expertise in tax law, particularly tax litigation.
• You are at least bilingual in French and English, with a good command of Dutch, especially when reviewing case law and legal literature.
• You are rigorous, enjoy client interaction and have a genuine interest in litigation and judicial proceedings.
• You demonstrate initiative and are comfortable working with a degree of autonomy, adapting to clients' needs.
