WLG is seeking a proactive IT engineer to oversee day-to-day information and communications systems, including servers, end-user devices, and the network services that underpin a secure estate. You will keep systems patched, documented, and compliant while supporting users and maintaining infrastructure availability.

The role requires hands-on experience with virtualization (VMware vSphere or Hyper-V), Windows Server environments, and enterprise messaging (Exchange).

Qualifications

• Minimum two years implementing and maintaining end systems in a large organisation.
• Hands-on configuration of hardware and software.
• Experience with VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper-V.
• Windows servers and clients across distributed sites.
• Experience with enterprise networking and directory services.
• Experience with Exchange and enterprise messaging.
• Scripting to automate deployments (PowerShell or Python).
• Understanding of databases and metadata for interop.
• Strong problem-solving independence.

Responsabilités

• Configure and manage systems, network and end-user devices day to day.
• Provide technical support to users.
• Deploy and monitor OS and application security fixes.
• Write and maintain technical docs and SOPs.
• Run central antivirus and maintain compliance.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and perform maintenance.
