Wlgroup in Belgium requires an engineer to oversee day-to-day information and communications systems, including servers, end-user devices, network services, and a secure patched estate. You will configure and manage systems, deploy security fixes, and provide technical support across distributed sites.

The role emphasizes hands-on hardware/software configuration, extensive Windows environment management, and automation scripting to streamline deployments and routine tasks.

Qualifications

• Two+ years implementing and maintaining end systems in a large organisation.
• Hands-on configuration of both hardware and software.
• Experience with virtualisation in production (VMware vSphere or Hyper‑V).
• Windows environments at scale: servers and clients across distributed sites.
• Experience with enterprise services such as directory and name resolution.

What you would be doing

• Configuring and managing systems, network and end-user devices day to day.
• Providing technical support to the people who use them.
• Deploying and monitoring operating system and application security fixes across the estate.
• Writing and maintaining the technical documentation and standard operating instructions that let someone else do the same work.
• Running the central antivirus solution and keeping devices compliant with it.
• Troubleshooting infrastructure problems and carrying out regular maintenance.

What you would bring
