SII Group Belgium is seeking a System Engineer to join a dynamic engineering team and contribute to the design, development, and integration of advanced systems for civilian and military environments.

You will lead the system specification, draft technical documents, and coordinate with clients and subcontractors while ensuring alignment with design requirements and IVVQ milestones. English fluency is required; French is a plus.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Engineering (Electronics, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field).
• 3–5 years of professional experience.
• Experience with full development lifecycle: requirements, design, development, and integration.
• End-to-end system design and third-party integration.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies (Containers, Orchestrators, Hypervisors).
• Familiarity with DOORS, Polarion, Capella, Enterprise Architect.
• CI/CD experience is a plus.
• Fluent English (B2 or higher); French is a plus.

We are looking for a System Engineer to join a dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and integration of advanced systems used in both civilian and military environments. You’ll work closely with clients and stakeholders to define solutions and see them through to successful implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand and analyze client needs to propose tailored technical solutions;
• Contribute to the system architecture definition and ensure it meets customer requirements;
• Lead the system specification process and support technical discussions with clients;
• Draft technical specifications and provide input for selecting subcontractors for subsystem components;
• Manage the creation of key technical documentation, including design and configuration documents, user manuals, and test plans;
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to define key milestones in the integration, verification, validation, and qualification (IVVQ) process;
• Configure and prepare equipment for Proof of Concept (PoC) demonstrations;
• Offer expert guidance in your domain and assist clients in resolving complex technical challenges;
• Ensure consistency and alignment of system components (hardware and software) with design specifications and requirements;
• Assemble system components to evaluate overall performance, interactions, and functionality.

Qualification:

• Master’s degree in Engineering (Electronics, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field)
• At least 3/5 years of professional experience
• Experience with full development lifecycle processes, including requirements gathering, design, development, and integration;
• Strong expertise in end-to-end system design, third-party integration, and prototyping of electronic/IT systems;
• Knowledge of cloud technologies (Containers, Orchestrators, and Hypervisors...)
• Experience with tools like DOORS, Polarion, Capella, Enterprise Architect...
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for staying updated on new technologies;
• Ability to work independently and proactively while being an effective team player;
• Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English (B2 or higher); French is a plus
