SII Group Belgium is looking for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join their team in Luik. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining software for aerospace systems, requiring strong knowledge in C/C++ and Python.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in embedded software development.
• Experience with micro-controllers and development without operating system.

SII Belgium is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing mechanical systems, products, or devices and apply engineering principles and techniques to develop innovative and functional mechanical solutions for our clients mostly in the aerospace & defense sector.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for aerospace systems.
• Work with cross-functional teams to define and implement software requirements
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure proper system integration
• Participate in code reviews and maintain software documentation
• Troubleshoot and debug software issues

Requirements

• Experience with real-time operating systems and embedded systems
• Strong knowledge of C /C++ language, Python, and practice of one assembly language
• Experience with micro-controllers and development without operating system
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in digital electronic design is a real plus
• Fluent in French and English
• Master's degree in Computer Science with embedded specialty, Electronic Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in embedded software development
