UCB in Belgium seeks a BioNexUS Sustainability Lead for capital projects to shape the environmental sustainability strategy for a new biopharma manufacturing site. Responsibilities include executing the LEED Gold certification strategy and translating sustainability ambitions into project decisions. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in a related field, over 10 years of relevant experience, and the ability to influence stakeholders across complex environments. This role is hybrid with collaboration across time zones.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant field with 10+ years' experience in large industrial or pharma projects.
• Strong background in LEED/BREEAM certification and green building design.
• Experience working under pressure with evolving priorities and ambiguity.

Responsabilités

• Own and execute the LEED Gold certification strategy from design through commissioning.
• Translate sustainability goals into engineering specifications and project decisions.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to embed 'Green by Design' principles.
