UCB S.A. in Belgium's Biomanufacturing Operations Center is seeking a Senior Bio Process Engineer to lead complex process and equipment improvement initiatives in a state-of-the-art biopharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

You will collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, automation and quality teams to deliver strategic projects, resolve technical challenges, and drive operational excellence while ensuring compliance with regulated manufacturing standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Biotechnology, Bioprocessing, or a related scientific field.
Strong knowledge of biomanufacturing processes, process optimisation, and regulated manufacturing environments.
Significant experience in engineering and/or automation and/or operation and/or manufacturing science and technology.
Proven project management experience, including planning, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and project execution.
Experience troubleshooting complex technical challenges and implementing sustainable solutions.
Fluent communication skills in English and French.

Responsabilités

Lead complex process and equipment improvement projects from planning through execution and implementation.
Develop project plans, budgets, timelines, resource strategies, and risk mitigation actions.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure successful project delivery.
Investigate and resolve complex manufacturing, engineering, and automation‑related issues.
Conduct root cause investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve operational performance.
Support production activities and contribute to continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
