Alcon is seeking a Supply Chain Order Management Specialist for our Bornem Distribution Center, focused on the global inbound and outbound flow of products and fair-share allocation to over 100 countries. You will collaborate across teams to optimize fulfillment, manage deployments, and improve stock and transportation efficiency.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, experience in supply chain, strong Excel and SAP skills, and Fluent English with Dutch beneficial.

Qualifications

• Experience in supply chain, planning, logistics, or related operational environment.
• Strong technical skills: Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and SAP experience.
• Fluent English communication skills; good understanding of Dutch is helpful.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with internal and external partners to solve fulfillment and allocation challenges.
• Manage daily deployment of released products, monitor aging inventory, and prevent obsolete stock.
• Create push orders for affiliates based on forecasts, inventory levels, in-transit goods, lead times and storage capacity.
• Set priorities for QA, Warehouse, and Export teams to mitigate stockouts and backorders.
• Optimize transportation modes and container utilization by combining incoming products from multiple suppliers.

As a Supply Chain Order Management Specialist supporting our Supply Chain Planning team, you will be trusted to work on the global inbound and outbound flow of products and fair-share allocation to more than 100 countries at our Bornem Distribution Center.

In this role, a typical day will include:

• Collaborating with internal and external partners to solve complex fulfillment and allocation challenges.
• Managing the daily deployment of released products, monitoring aging inventory, and preventing obsolete stock.
• Creating push orders for affiliates based on forecasts, inventory levels, in-transit goods, lead times, and storage capacity.
• Setting priorities for QA, Warehouse, and Export teams to mitigate stockouts and backorders.
• Optimizing transportation modes and container utilization by combining incoming products from multiple suppliers.

What You’ll Bring To Alcon

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; no specific field required.
• Experience in supply chain, planning, logistics, or a related operational environment.
• Strong technical skills: Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and previous SAP experience.
• Ability to analyze complex data, solve technical problems, and manage a steep learning curve.
• Fluent English communication skills (written and verbal); good understanding of Dutch is required, speaking/writing is a strong plus.
• A proactive mindset, strong ownership, and the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
