Alcon in Belgium seeks a Supply Chain Order Management Specialist to support our Planning team, overseeing global in- and outbound flows and fair-share allocation to 100+ countries from the Bornem Distribution Center.

You will collaborate across teams, manage product deployments, monitor aging inventory, and optimize transport and supplier integration. Fluent English is required; Dutch understanding is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in supply chain planning, logistics or related operations.
• Strong technical skills: Excel and SAP.
• Fluent English communication; some Dutch understanding is a plus.
• Proactive mindset with cross-functional collaboration.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with internal and external partners to solve fulfillment and allocation challenges.
• Manage the daily deployment of released products, monitor aging inventory, and prevent obsolete stock.
• Create push orders for affiliates based on forecasts, inventory levels, in-transit goods, lead times, and storage capacity.
• Set priorities for QA, Warehouse, and Export teams to mitigate stockouts and backorders.
• Optimize transportation modes and container utilization by combining incoming products from multiple suppliers.

As a Supply Chain Order Management Specialist supporting our Supply Chain Planning team, you will be trusted to work on the global in‑and outbound flow of products and fair‑share allocation to more than 100 countries at our Bornem Distribution Center.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON

A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; no specific field required.

• Experience in supply chain, planning, logistics, or a related operational environment.
• Strong technical skills: Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and previous SAP experience.
• Ability to analyze complex data, solve technical problems, and manage a steep learning curve.
• Fluent English communication skills (written and verbal); good understanding of Dutch is required, speaking/writing is a strong plus.
• A proactive mindset, strong ownership, and the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
