g2 Recruitment is seeking a Supply & Quality Lead – Freelance in Liège, Belgium. You will manage a small team of around five people in a highly technical engineering environment, overseeing sourcing, purchasing, supply, warehouse and quality.

The contract spans 12 months with strong potential for extension, starting ASAP, in a 4 days on-site / 1 day remote pattern. Fluency in French and English is required, and experience with electronics engineering and ERP systems such as Odoo or Microsoft

Qualifications

• Experience in supply chain, procurement, and supplier management.
• Background in electronics or engineering; electronics engineering preferred.
• Experience leading a team and working with engineers and commercial stakeholders.
• Hands-on, proactive approach in a technically complex environment.

The Role

We are looking for a Supply & Quality Lead to manage a team of around 5 people within a highly technical, engineering-focused environment.

You will oversee sourcing, purchasing, supply, warehouse and quality, working closely with suppliers and engineers to ensure quality, availability, cost and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a 5-person supply & quality team.
• Manage sourcing, purchasing and key supplier relationships.
• Work closely with engineers on technical requirements and suppliers.
• Oversee warehouse/supply operations and supplier performance.
• Manage quality, cost and delivery issues.
• Support supplier negotiations, contracts and legal discussions.
• Improve supply and procurement processes using ERP systems.

About You

• Strong sourcing/procurement/supply chain experience.
• Background in electronics or engineering; electronics engineering experience is highly desirable.
• Experience managing suppliers and leading a team.
• Comfortable working with both engineers and commercial stakeholders.
• Experience with Odoo and/or Microsoft Dynamics advantageous.
• Hands-on, proactive and motivated by a technically complex environment.
