TMC Belgium is seeking a Buyer to lead strategic procurement for technical equipment and services. You will own sourcing activities, define selection criteria, and drive contract award decisions within cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering, technical studies, economics or related field.
• Fluency in Dutch and/or French and English.
• 2–5 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, public procurement or project management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement medium- to long-term procurement strategies for technical equipment and services.
• Manage end-to-end procurement procedures, from defining selection and awarding criteria through tendering, negotiation and contract award.
• Analyse international markets, suppliers and industry developments to identify opportunities and potential risks.
• Collaborate with technical, engineering, project and business stakeholders to understand requirements and align procurement activities.
• Contribute to sustainable procurement initiatives, process improvements and the development of procurement best practices.
