Sopra Steria invites applications for a Consultant role in Supply Chain Planning and Optimization. The team operates from Belgium and the Netherlands (Diegem, Mechelen, Lummen, Nieuwegein) and uses top-tier planning technologies with extensive training opportunities.

You will analyze customer needs, deliver validated solutions, and support clients with ongoing care after implementation. You will join a multinational, customer-driven environment, contributing to complex planning puzzles in both

Qualifications

• Bachelor or university degree in econometrics, applied economic sciences, mathematics, commercial sciences, civil engineer or commercial engineer.
• Minimum 2 years relevant work experience in a similar position.
• Experience with APS software and/or ERP systems.
• Experience with SQL.
• Excellent analytical skills and problem solving ability.
• Good communication skills and ability to connect with various stakeholders.
• Fluent in Dutch or French; professional English (oral and written).

Responsibilities

• Collecting and formulating business requirements and translating functional requirements into technical solutions.
• Continuously improving this solution and developing new functionalities.
• Validating new functionalities with the various stakeholders.
• Implementing the solution from a to z, together with the team on the customer's side.
• Providing expert knowledge in customer projects during and after implementation.
