Editx in Brussels is seeking an IT Manager to roll out the IT strategy and lead the department to plan, implement, and maintain all IT systems and infrastructure.

The role requires aligning technology with business goals, ensuring security and reliability, and collaborating with executives and external partners to drive innovation.

The successful candidate will manage a small IT team, govern project lifecycles, evaluate new technologies, and oversee operations and vendor relationships.

Qualifications

• Experience defining and implementing an IT strategy and translating it into a coherent roadmap.
• Experience managing an IT portfolio with planning, budget, risks, and staffing.
• Strong governance across project lifecycles, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
• Ability to evaluate emerging technologies and advise on adoption.
• Oversight of IT operations and service levels.

Responsabilités

• Define and implement the IT vision and strategy of the company and translate into a coherent roadmap.
• Manage the IT-portfolio with respect to planning, budget, risks and ensuring adequate resource staffing together with providers and business
• Ensure adequate governance throughout the lifecycle of projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies, assess their potential for the organization, and make recommendations for adoption.
• Oversee all technology operations and evaluate them according to established goals and service levels.
• Ensure a stable IT landscape and close follow up and resolution of incidents and problems.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and systems.
• Establish and enforce security policies and procedures to protect the organization's digital assets.
• Evaluate and manage relationships with external vendors, negotiate contracts, and ensure service level agreements are met.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a small team of IT professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Manage relationships with internal stakeholders, ranging from employees to Exco-members, and external IT partners.
