Job summary

Axis Group in Belgium seeks an Indirect Procurement Manager to lead bidding, negotiate strategies, and develop cost-effective solutions across categories.

You will oversee the entire bidding process, tailor negotiation approaches, and identify internal needs through data analysis and close collaboration with stakeholders. Strong writing, supplier engagement, and contract management are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Industrial Sciences or Applied Economics with at least 3 years of experience in an industrial setting.
• Fluent in French and Dutch, with good understanding of English.
• Strong negotiation skills and knowledge of public bidding procedures is a plus.
• Experience in technical procurement and drafting contractual documents is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire bidding process with involvement depending on project complexity.
• Implement a tailored negotiation strategy to identify advantageous solutions.
• Identify procurement needs via data analysis and regular communication with internal clients.
• Create market opportunities by analyzing internal demand and engaging suppliers.
• Update technical and commercial specifications to meet objectives.
• Manage active contracts, handling claims and renegotiations with internal clients.
• Define and develop long-term procurement strategy aligned with the Procurement Plan.
