Schelstraete Delacourt in Belgium is seeking an FP&A & Controlling Manager for an international FMCG player. You will partner with regional leadership to drive financial performance, lead a small finance team and support management with data-driven decisions.

The role combines budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning, and business case evaluation; you will oversee reporting, KPI analysis, and board presentations while fostering a data-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimal 5 years of relevant FP&A/controlling or corporate finance experience.
• Experience in international and growth-oriented environments.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and business case development track record.
• Previous people management experience is a strong asset.
• FMCG exposure preferred; manufacturing or supply chain experience advantageous.

• Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support strategic decision-making.
• Prepare long-term financial plans and business forecasts.
• Evaluate investments, growth initiatives, and business opportunities through robust business cases.
• Identify risks, opportunities, and value creation levers to support business growth.
• Analyze financial and operational performance across the organization.
• Monitor KPIs and provide actionable insights.
• Explain variances versus budget and forecast and propose corrective actions.
• Support management with clear recommendations to improve profitability and efficiency.
• Translate complex financial data into meaningful business insights.
• Oversee management reporting and financial performance reviews.
• Consolidate results across markets and functions; support executive leadership with presentations.
