Hitachi Energy is seeking a Business Controller to partner with the Local Service Unit leadership, drive financial performance, and support strategic decisions. You will combine financial expertise with business insight to improve governance and operational results in an international environment.

The role focuses on business planning, forecasting, project controlling, and performance management, turning data into actionable recommendations for stakeholders across functions.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in controlling, FP&A or finance business partnering.
• Experience in industrial, engineering, manufacturing, technology, or project-driven environments.
• Proven track record supporting both operational and strategic business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to support strategy execution and improve financial performance.
• Lead planning, budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis for your area.
• Oversee project controlling: profitability, revenue recognition, cash flow and margins.
• Identify financial risks and opportunities and support reviews.
• Provide insights to support operational and strategic decisions and governance.
