VITO is seeking an experienced business development manager on the EnergyVille campus in Genk to drive market-ready solutions from heat exchangers and building envelope design. You will work with lead scientists, partners and a central marketing team to move technologies toward the market.

You will liaise with cross-functional teams, manage client relations, and lead valorisation strategies while contributing to international collaborations and business opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have a master’s or PhD in a relevant domain such as engineering, energy, building & construction.
• Fluent in Dutch and English with strong communication skills.
• Proven commercial experience in a role related to innovation or valorisation.
• Familiar with IP protection and valorisation processes.
• Ability to analyze market/tech trends and translate into actionable solutions.
• Strategic thinker with CRM and key account management skills.

Responsabilités

• Support business development and commercial activities for two technology teams.
• Co-develop innovative products/services with industrial partners.
• Coordinate contract research opportunities and R&D proposals.
• Assist in technology transfer and licensing negotiations with IP Office.
• Report on portfolio status and valorisation roadmap progress.
