Arcadis in the Antwerp region is seeking a Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager to lead cost management from feasibility through detailed design and construction. You will prepare detailed cost plans, analyse drawings and BIM models for cost implications, and develop cost models for design options.

You will benchmark costs, contribute to value engineering workshops, and manage tendering processes, ensuring compliant documentation and robust commercial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• Professional certification such as RICS or AACE.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Extensive experience in a similar Quantity Surveying / cost management role.
• Deep knowledge of construction processes, cost and commercial management.
• Proven ability to lead smaller projects and support larger ones.

Responsabilités

• Prepare cost plans, estimates, and budgets from feasibility to construction.
• Analyze drawings and docs to identify cost implications, risks and opportunities.
• Benchmark costs using data, market intel, and norms.
• Develop cost models and pricing for design options.
• Lead value engineering workshops and advise on alternatives.
• Manage tendering: RFQs/RFTs, bid responses, and meetings.
• Prepare BOQs, schedules of rates and scope breakdowns.
• Administer contracts and maintain records for audit readiness.
