Job summary

Novaspace is seeking a highly motivated manager to lead Earth Observation strategic communications projects in Brussels, Munich or Paris. You will manage institutional contracts, coordinate budgets, proposals and invoicing, and direct end-to-end project leadership with a focus on science communication and user outreach.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years in project and contract management, a technical background in environmental sciences or EO, fluent English, and willingness to travel

Qualifications

• Technical background in environmental sciences, geoanalytics, Earth Observation or related field.
• Strong interest in science communication and user adoption of Earth Observation.
• Demonstrable experience in project and contract management.
• Fast learner, flexible, organised, meticulous and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work independently and yet effectively in a team.
• Strong academic background and fluent English (oral and written).
• EU citizen with flexibility for international travel.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end management of institutional contracts, including budget tracking, invoicing support, proposal writing and contract administration.
• Support business development by preparing client meetings, ensuring follow-up and identifying opportunities.
• End-to-end project leadership for strategic communication mandates.
• Support team management, including recruitment and resource planning and coordination.
