Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is recruiting a Staff Project Engineer E&I in Geel, Belgium. You will lead E&I scope projects, ensure systems are compliant, and foster partnerships with internal and external teams.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering with at least 5 years' experience in Pharma/GMP or chemical industries, and a strong safety/quality mindset. A Master’s degree is preferred, and a collaborative, can-do attitude is essential.

The Geel site is the largest chemical production site for Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) within the JnJ supply chain. We ensure that lifesaving medicines reach the patient safely, optimally, competitively, always. Besides production of API's, the site has a launch & grow mission for new pharmaceutical products. Responsibilities

• Act as Project lead or core-team member for E&I scope projects, driving successful project delivery
• Ensure that our systems are compliant and fit for the intended use, ensuring a smooth release for operational use.
• Establish effective working relationships and partnerships with internal and external partners

Who We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of experience, preferably in a Pharma/GMP or chemical industry environment.
• An enthusiastic, standout colleague with a “Can do” mentality.
• You love working in a team, hearing different points of view and discussing them with your peers.
• An individual who feels that safety and quality are of paramount importance.
• An individual with strong soft skills, who can communicate succesfully with partners across different levels of our organization.
• Experience in electricity (LV), instrumentation communication protocols, ATEX and qualification are strongly desired but can be compensated with a high level of eagerness to learn.
• A person with “digital” embedded in the DNA.
• You acquired a master’s degree or equal trough experience. Preferred fields of study are Engineering or Science.
