Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Staff Security Engineer, Incident Response, to join a global IR team focused on rapid incident handling and forensics. You will respond to high-priority alerts, perform investigations, and help scale security capabilities using AI-driven tooling.

You will mentor staff, contribute to design decisions, and drive improvements across our on-call operations. A strong IR background and cloud security expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 7+ years in Incident Response or Master's with 5+ years.
• Cloud security expertise across AWS, GCP or Azure and proficiency in others.
• Experience with AI/LLM and agentic security capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incidents as part of a 24x7 IR team.
• Triage and respond to security events ensuring containment.
• Conduct forensic analysis across data sources to determine impact and timeline.
• Provide technical leadership and influence team direction.
• Develop AI-enabled security solutions to scale incident response.
