Axis Group is seeking a Sr. Broker Liability to manage and grow a diverse client portfolio across industries, advising on liability risks and crafting innovative insurance solutions.

The role covers domestic and international clients, requires a Master’s degree, and 3–5 years (mid) or 8–10 years (senior) in liability insurance or related consulting. Fluency in three languages including English, French or Dutch is preferred.

• You manage, nurture, and grow your client portfolio with proficiency in General Liability, Products Liability, Construction-related risks, Environmental Risks, Professional Liability, and other liability-related issues;
• You handle a diverse range of topics across various industries, including Construction, Life Sciences, Pharma, and the Public Sector. You engage with both domestic and international companies, making a substantial impact for the clients you support;
• You serve as the primary advisor for your clients, gaining a comprehensive understanding of their business objectives, risk strategies, and risk management practices to provide precise and well-informed counsel;
• You assess and evaluate liability risks for clients in all sectors, both nationally and globally;
• You create, present, and implement renewal and placement strategies to offer the most effective and innovative solutions to clients;
• You draft, negotiate, and finalize customized policy wordings and manage the implementation and servicing of national and international insurance programs;
• You actively contribute to exceptional team performance and collaboration;
• You stay informed about pertinent regulations, legislation, and evolving market trends;
• You perform contract reviews at the request of clients;
• You continuously seek to enhance client satisfaction and ensure that commitments made to clients are honored;
• You focus on achieving results and resolutions with enthusiasm for the business;
• You cultivate relationships with clients, the broader insurance market, and global resources and specialists within the organization.

• Holds a Master’s degree in Law, Economics, or possesses equivalent experience in a related field or function;
• Has a demonstrated track record of 3 to 5 years of experience for mid-level positions, or 8 to 10 years for senior roles, specifically within Liability Insurance or in a legal or consulting capacity;
• Is recognized as a strong collaborator with exceptional skills in forging and maintaining relationships both within the organization and with clients, as well as insurance markets;
• Exhibits a high level of motivation, demonstrating a commitment to the organization’s mission and a desire for excellence, along with a readiness to make meaningful contributions;
• Possesses a specific interest or relevant background in niche sectors related to Construction, Life Sciences, and Environmental risks, which is considered advantageous;
• Ideally speaks three languages fluently, with proficiency in either French or Dutch, alongside English;
• Demonstrates outstanding communication and presentation abilities;
• Is capable of thriving in both collaborative team environments and independently driven settings.
