Job summary

GSK in Belgium seeks a procurement partner to manage supplier relationships, sourcing activities and performance for site operations. You will work with site teams, global category colleagues and finance to protect supply, reduce costs and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Comfortable with data, Excel and procurement systems.
• Clear stakeholder management with cross-functional experience.
• Fluent English; Dutch/French a plus.

About the role

You will act as a key procurement partner for our Belgium sites, managing supplier relationships, sourcing activities and supplier performance. You will work closely with site teams, global category colleagues and finance to protect supply, reduce costs and drive continuous improvement. About the responsibilities

• Lead local sourcing and supplier lifecycle activities for assigned categories, including supplier selection, onboarding and performance management.
• Run quotation analysis, competitive sourcing and contract negotiations to achieve cost and service targets.
• Work with site stakeholders (Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance) to ensure materials and services meet specifications and regulatory expectations.
• Identify and manage supply risks, and put in place mitigation actions to protect site operations.
• Drive value generation initiatives, track purchase price variance and support cost and cash improvement programmes.
• Use procurement systems and data to create insights, improve processes and support audit readiness.

About you

Basic Qualification

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Science or a related field.
• At least 2–4 years' experience in procurement or supply chain, ideally supporting site-level spend.
• Practical experience with sourcing, quotation analysis, negotiation and supplier performance tracking.
• Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
• Comfortable working with data, Excel and procurement systems.
• Clear stakeholder management skills with experience working cross-functionally.
• Fluent English.
• Additional local language skills (Dutch, French) are a plus.

Preferred Qualification

• Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with SAP, Ariba or other procurement platforms and business intelligence tools.
• Formal procurement or supply chain certification (CIPS, CPSM or equivalent).
• Experience supporting capital projects or MRO categories.
• Knowledge of third party risk management and supplier qualification processes.
• Continuous improvement training (Lean, Six Sigma) or practical CI experience.

Work model

This role is hybrid. You will be expected to spend regular time on-site in Belgium and work remotely at times. Fully remote roles are not available.

Belgium Salary Range / Fourchette salariale – Belgique:

EUR 56,175 to EUR 93,625
