A leading engineering firm in Brussels is seeking a Senior Technical Designer/BIM Manager to join their 3D/BIM team. In this role, you will be responsible for the technical representation and development of projects, ensuring coordination with structural engineers and architects. Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience, a relevant degree, and strong software skills in Revit and Autocad. Fluency in English and/or French is required, while Dutch is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in a structural engineering office.
• Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Technical drawing with strong knowledge of structures.
• Fluency in English and/or French; Dutch is a plus.
• Fluent in English and/or French; Dutch is an advantage.

Senior Technical Designer / Project BIM Manager

The Brussels office offers you a challenging position as a Senior Technical Designer/BIM manager in the 3D/BIM team to work on interesting projects with internationally renowned architects.

In collaboration with structural and façade engineers, you take charge of the technical representation and development of the project. You are responsible for overall plans and details (concrete, steel & timber), ensuring the coordination of the BIM team with the Design team (Structural Engineers, Architects, MEP). During the construction phase, you may also be required to attend the examination of execution plans, as well as construction site monitoring.

Your profile

• Experience of 3 years or more in a structural engineering office
• Degree in Architecture, Engineering or Technical drawing with strong knowledge of structures.
• Software: Revit, Autocad, Rhinoceros (grasshopper) is an advantage.
• Fluent in speaking and writing English and/or French, Dutch is an advantage.
• Motivation, personal commitment, and capacity to work in a team.
• A fascination by and an understanding of the relationship between architecture and structure.
