Responsibilities

• Define and document vendor and supplier requirements with internal stakeholders.
• Participate in supplier selection, including RfI evaluations, site visits, and presentations.
• Lead and coordinate procurement and tender processes (including international projects) and negotiate pricing, discounts, and contract terms.
• Establish and manage SLAs and KPIs, embedding these into contracts and ensuring supplier compliance.
• Monitor supplier performance, address issues, and implement improvements or escalation measures.
• Oversee supplier lifecycle management: onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.
• Stay updated on automotive market developments, identify commercial opportunities, and contribute to risk management and business continuity.

Are you a commercially driven professional with a strong background in vendor management and the automotive sector? We are looking for a proactive and analytical Sourcing & Vendor Officer to join our organisation.

In this role, you will play a key part in shaping supplier strategy, driving performance, and ensuring strong commercial outcomes while safeguarding compliance and risk standards. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external partners, contributing to strategic sourcing, contract negotiations, and continuous improvement initiatives across both automotive and non-automotive services.

• Define and document vendor and supplier requirements in collaboration with internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment with strategic and operational objectives.
• Participate in supplier selection processes, including RfI evaluations, site visits, and presentations, providing clear recommendations.
• Lead and coordinate complex procurement and tender processes (including international projects) and negotiate pricing, discounts, and contractual terms.
• Establish and manage SLAs and KPIs, embedding these into contracts and ensuring supplier compliance.
• Monitor supplier performance, address service or quality issues proactively, and implement improvement or escalation measures where required.
• Oversee supplier lifecycle management, including onboarding, performance management, and offboarding processes.
• Stay up to date with automotive market developments, identify commercial opportunities, and contribute to risk management and business continuity planning.

• Proven experience in operational leasing and a strong understanding of the automotive and fleet sector.
• Strong commercial, analytical, and financial skills with the ability to identify opportunities and influence suppliers.
• Solid experience in vendor management, procurement, tender processes, and contract negotiations.
• Excellent analytical and presentation skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and innovative solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• High level of autonomy, organisational ability, and a strong sense of ownership and responsibility.
• Good understanding of compliance and regulatory frameworks, with willingness to travel within Belux and experience working with external partners.
