Job summary

IBA is seeking an experienced Sourcing Category Manager to define and execute the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Electrical and Electronic Components category. You will lead a team to maximize value, ensure supply continuity, and drive cost optimization while supporting innovation and sustainability.

You will manage end-to-end sourcing activities, negotiate with key suppliers, and build strategic partnerships across the organization to align with IBA’s global procurement objectives.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or category management in an industrial company.
• At least 3 years in team leadership or people management.
• Proven track record in category strategy development and cost optimization.
• Experience with direct material categories (mechanical components).
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English; speaking French is required.
• Proficiency with procurement systems, ideally SAP (Module MM).

IBA is strengthening its Purchasing organization and is looking for experienced Sourcing Category Managers with an experience in Electrical and Electronic Components.

As a Sourcing Category Manager, you will define and execute the vision, strategy, and roadmap for your category to maximize value, ensure supply continuity, and drive cost optimization while supporting innovation and sustainability.

You will lead a team of sourcing professionals and collaborate across the organization to ensure your category strategy supports IBA’s operational and strategic goals.

Total gross guaranteed annual compensation range: 83200-126300€
