The ideal candidate has 15+ years in IT, deep Mainframe, Java/.NET, Azure, APIs and data technologies, and a proven record leading €10M+ transformations with pragmatic delivery focus.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of IT industry experience.
• Proven Lead Solution Architect on large-scale transformations (€10M+).
• Strong IBM Mainframe experience.
• Proficient in Java or Windows .NET development.
• Knowledge of Azure Cloud, APIs, integration, and data technologies.
• Experience with Linux and Java development.
• Delivery-focused, pragmatic architect with cross-domain scope.
• Financial Services knowledge is a plus.

Job title: Technical Lead – Solution Architecture

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead / Solution Architect to lead the definition and delivery of end-to-end architecture solutions for complex, transversal IT initiatives. The role requires strong experience across Mainframe, Java/.NET, Azure, APIs, integration, and modern data technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and deliver end-to-end architecture solutions covering functional, non-functional, security, and resilience requirements.
• Collaborate with Requirement Owners and Domain Architects from inception through deployment.
• Lead IT engineers and application authorities across the organization.
• Ensure solutions align with enterprise standards and domain target architectures.

Required Skills & Experience

• 15+ years of IT industry experience.
• Proven experience as a Lead Solution Architect on large-scale transformation projects, preferably €10M+.
• Strong experience with IBM Mainframe.
• Strong experience with Java or Windows .NET development stacks.
• Good knowledge of Azure Cloud, APIs, integration mechanisms, and data technologies.
• Experience with private cloud technologies and Azure.
• Knowledge of event-driven architecture and Kafka.
• Experience with Linux and Java development.
• Strong architectural analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work across multiple architectural domains.
• Pragmatic, solution-oriented approach with strong delivery focus.
• Proactive approach to identifying improvements and proposing innovative solutions.
• Financial Services industry experience and knowledge of regulatory environments is an advantage.
