Job summary

Moody's Analytics, Orbis engineering team, is seeking a skilled .NET developer to maintain, enhance and evolve high-scale applications used for financial decision-making. You will work on .NET Framework 4.8 and .NET 10, ASP.NET Core MVC, and modern front-end tech, partnering with product, design and data teams to deliver impactful technical solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience shipping production software in a professional setting.
• Strong proficiency in C# with async/await, LINQ and generics.
• Experience with ASP.NET MVC and Web API on .NET Framework 4.8.
• Familiar with modern .NET (.NET 10) and ASP.NET Core MVC.
• Experience building web apps with HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.
• Ability to debug and troubleshoot in production environments.
• Write clean, testable code; unit testing with xUnit/NUnit/MSTest.
• Proficient in Git, Visual Studio and NuGet.
• Collaborative in cross-functional teams; strong problem-solving mindset.
• Experience with React and TypeScript.
• Knowledge of SQL and EF/EF Core.
• Exposure to .NET Framework to .NET migrations.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
• Interest in AI technologies and ethical AI usage.
• Hands-on AI tools to streamline workflows.

Responsibilities
