Airswift is seeking a Software Asset Management Specialist to support a large IT software portfolio in Brussels. You will manage licenses across their lifecycle, maintain inventories, and collaborate with IT, Procurement and Finance to ensure compliance and cost-effectiveness.

You will develop dashboards and reports, monitor renewals and licensing risks, and drive continuous improvements in SAM processes while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in Software Asset Management, License Management, IT Asset Management, IT Procurement, or a related field
• Strong understanding of software licensing models and software asset management principles
• Experience managing software inventories, renewals, compliance activities, and vendor contracts
• Knowledge of SAM and ITAM tools and methodologies
• Strong analytical skills with experience using Excel, SQL, Power BI, or similar reporting tools
• Experience creating reports, dashboards, and data-driven recommendations
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Fluent in English with either French or Dutch

Responsabilités

• Maintain an accurate and up-to-date inventory of software licenses and related assets
• Analyse software contracts, licensing terms, and usage rights in collaboration with IT, Procurement, and Finance teams
• Monitor software usage and identify opportunities for optimisation, cost reduction, and licence rationalisation
• Track renewals, compliance requirements, and potential licensing risks
• Develop and maintain reporting, dashboards, and management metrics to support decision-making
• Monitor KPIs including active licenses, renewal schedules, compliance risks, and cost-saving opportunities
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within Software Asset Management processes
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective license governance and compliance

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Software Asset Management Specialist to support the management and optimisation of a large-scale IT software portfolio. This role combines administrative, analytical, and stakeholder management responsibilities, working closely with IT, Procurement, and Finance teams to ensure software licenses are managed efficiently, compliantly, and cost-effectively throughout their lifecycle.
