Job summary

Médiane Benelux is a leading engineering company in software, electronics, and cybersecurity, seeking a Junior/Medior Software Architect to strengthen its railway-focused team and contribute to simulators and testing tools used in critical railway systems. You will develop software components in Python, C# and C++, and define software specifications and architecture choices.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or engineering degree in IT, CS, Electronics or related field.
• Junior/Medior with up to 3 years in software development.
• Strong knowledge of Python, C#, and C++.
• Knowledge of network protocols.
• Experience with Embedded Linux.
• Experience in regulated/critical environments is a plus.

Le poste :

Our client, a major player in the railway sector, is looking for a Junior/Medior Software Architect to strengthen its team and contribute to the development of simulators and testing tools used in critical railway systems.

Your responsibilities

• Contribute to the definition of software specifications and architecture choices.
• Develop software components in Python, C# and C++.
• Perform unit, integration and validation testing.
• Support the integration of software and hardware components.
• Work closely with Software, Hardware and Test teams.
• Use and maintain version control and configuration tools with Git / GitLab.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development tools and practices.

Profil recherché :

• Master's degree or Engineering degree in IT, Computer Science, Electronics or a related field.
• Junior/Medior profile with ideally up to 3 years of experience in software development.
• Good knowledge of Python, C# and C++.
• Knowledge of network communication protocols.
• Familiarity with Embedded Linux.
• Previous experience in a regulated or critical environment such as railway, aerospace, defense or medical is a plus.

Languages

• Fluent English is required.
• French is a plus.
