Reynaers Aluminium is seeking a Development Expert for sliding and folding systems to drive end-to-end development from concept to market launch. You will work with R&D, operations, and suppliers to deliver high-quality aluminium solutions.

You will leverage a strong technical background, communicate effectively, and push for innovative designs while maintaining cost-conscious quality and schedule adherence. The role is based at the Duffel campus.

Qualifications

• Requires 5+ years of relevant technical experience.
• Strong technical background in product design and manufacturing technologies (aluminium, steel, polymers, elastomers, rubber).
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Product Development, Science, or Architecture; Master’s degree a plus.

Responsabilités

• Drive development of new sliding and folding systems from ideation to market launch.
• Translate technical challenges into effective solutions and validate via testing and prototyping.
• Collaborate with suppliers to transform concepts into high‑quality final products.
• Ensure documentation and product information are accurate for market introduction.
• Work with senior experts to ensure compliance with technical standards and on-time delivery.
• Report progress to Team Leader and escalate issues as needed.
• Contribute to the technical product roadmap with innovations and forward-looking concepts.
• Suggest workflow improvements to enhance development efficiency.
• Coach and guide trainees toward becoming senior experts.
