Job summary

Proferro in Belgium is seeking a CNC operator to produce machined workpieces. You will set up the CNC machine using workpiece specs, position the piece for milling, and select the correct program and tools.

You will inspect finished parts per drawings, adjust zero points or tools if needed, and handle deburring, cleaning, and registering each piece. The role offers a permanent contract, on-the-job training, and growth opportunities in an international environment.

Qualifications

• Independent and autonomous worker on machines.
• Able to understand geometry axes and Siemens 840D controllers.
• Able to read and interpret CNC programs per ISO coding.
• Multilingual: Dutch, French, or English; willing to learn Dutch if needed.
• Experienced CNC operator or completed a CNC training course.

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC machine using workpiece specs and position the workpiece for milling.
• Select the correct CNC program and set up cutting tools correctly.
• Check the machined workpiece against drawings and adjust zero points/tools as needed.
• Clean, deburr and register each finished piece before starting the next.
• Work shifts including second, night shifts and weekends.
