Job summary

Novartis Belux in Puurs, Belgium, seeks a DDIT OPS Robotics Expert ITOT to own the site robotics technology strategy and maintain end-to-end deployment packages. You will collaborate across global teams, suppliers, and the innovation ecosystem to translate market scouting into actionable on-site solutions and ensure alignment with GMP and data integrity requirements.

The role requires 7+ years in robotics, URS experience, and strong stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in robotics or related technical discipline.
• 7+ years of hands‑on robotics experience with deployment on site.
• Experience defining URS and vendor evaluation criteria.
• Strong understanding of robotics hardware, integration, and automation architectures.
• Knowledge of GMP requirements and data integrity (ALCOA+).
• Proven experience managing robotics portfolios, budgets and project pipelines.
• Fluent Dutch and English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Own the site robotics technology strategy and refresh it against market and vendor developments.
• Harmonize requirements across platforms and align global ways of working.
• Own URS and robotics roadmap; align common vs platform-specific requirements.
• Translate scouted technology into site-ready deployment packages with implementable solutions.
• Maintain Robotics Catalog and ensure up-to-date details and ownership.
• Lead technology scouting, focusing on computer vision, automated inspection, and physical AI.
• Evaluate vendors and partner with Procurement on supplier management.
• Ensure site alignment and piloting of evaluated technologies and capture feedback for roadmap cycles.
• Report progress to the Robotics Steering Committee and support roadmap approvals.
• Ensure GMP compliance and security protocols.
