Pluxee Belgium is seeking a Local Workplace Engineer to support, maintain and improve workplace technologies and end-user environments within Belgium. You will help build and operate a secure, cloud-first infrastructure landscape and play a key role in automation to reduce manual work.

You will collaborate with infrastructure, network, security and application teams, contribute to documentation, and promote standardisation and operational excellence across the organisation with a hybrid working

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in infrastructure, cloud, systems engineering or platform operations.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Experience managing Windows and/or Linux environments.
• Experience with automation and scripting.

• Support and optimise Azure and hybrid infrastructure platforms.
• Manage Windows and Linux environments.
• Contribute to cloud migration and infrastructure modernisation initiatives.
• Ensure services are secure, stable and available.

Your Next Challenge As part of the Infrastructure & Platforms team, you will help build and operate a modern, secure and increasingly cloud-first infrastructure landscape. You'll play a key role in automating operational activities, improving platform reliability, supporting Azure adoption and reducing manual work across our environment.

What you'll do

Cloud & Platform Operations

• Support and improve our Azure and hybrid infrastructure platforms.
• Manage and optimise Windows and Linux environments.
• Contribute to cloud migration and infrastructure modernisation initiatives.
• Ensure services remain secure, stable and available.

Automation & Engineering

• Automate operational tasks using tools such as PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform and Git.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code and operational runbooks.
• Improve provisioning, patching, monitoring and maintenance processes.
• Help standardise and simplify infrastructure operations.

Reliability & Monitoring

• Monitor platform health, performance and availability.
• Support incident investigation and root cause analysis.
• Improve observability, alerting and operational dashboards.
• Identify opportunities to increase resilience and reduce recurring issues.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

• Work closely with infrastructure, network, security and application teams.
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing.
• Promote automation, standardisation and operational excellence across the organisation.

You Are a Match If...

• Experience 3+ years of experience in infrastructure, cloud, systems engineering or platform operations.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Experience managing Windows and/or Linux environments.
• Experience with automation and scripting.

Technical Skills

• Azure Infrastructure Services
• PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform and/or Python
• Git and Infrastructure as Code principles
• Monitoring and observability platforms
• ServiceNow and Jira are an advantage
• Knowledge of VMware or hybrid-cloud environments is a plus

• Education Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science or equivalent through experience.
• Languages English is required. Dutch and/or French are a strong advantage.
