In Belgium, we operate in seven dedicated practices supporting growth and development on capital projects within a construction environment, focusing on civil construction elements such as concrete, steel, finishes and interior works.

We are seeking a project engineer to plan, coordinate and execute technical projects, write specifications, monitor site

Qualifications

3–5 years of experience as a project engineer in construction.
Experience in the pharmaceutical or food industry is advantageous.
IR or Ing degree with a civil engineering specialization.
Technical knowledge of civil structures.
Knowledge of or interest in cleanrooms is a plus.
Native Dutch speaker and fluent in English.
Strong organization and planning skills on site.
Ability to interpret and check construction plans on site.
Team player in multidisciplinary teams.
Clear, effective communication with stakeholders.
Proactive and hands-on approach to your work.

Responsabilités

Follow capital projects according to the CPMP methodology, with a focus on civil construction elements.
Monitor the construction of buildings, including civil structures, concrete floors, facade and roof finishes, and interior finishes.
Write specifications, compare quantity surveys, select contractor firms, and closely follow daily site activities.
Prepare and manage project plans, including objectives, milestones, tasks, and resources.
Monitor project progress and identify and resolve technical issues as they arise.
Provide timely and effective reporting on project progress to the project manager.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand and meet project requirements.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards throughout the project.
Document technical processes, procedures, and results accurately and consistently.
Contribute to continuous improvement of technical processes and working methods.
