The BESIX Group is seeking a site-based engineer to lead a defined portion of the Oosterweel Link project in Antwerp. You will ensure delivery of documentation, methods, and materials, and develop method statements, risk assessments, and temporary works for your area.

You will coordinate daily with subcontractors, prepare requisitions, and assess offers, while tracking permanent materials, deliveries, and payments. English is the working language on your zone.

Qualifications

• Degree in Industrial or Civil Engineering; hands-on experience welcomed.
• Experience on at least two civil engineering projects and ownership mindset.
• Strong analytical, technical, and coordination abilities with clear overview.
• Solution‑oriented, decisive, proactive in a fast-changing environment.
• Strong communication to align stakeholders across disciplines.

Responsabilités

• Ensure site is supplied with documentation, methods and materials.
• Prepare construction method statements, risk assessments and temporary works.
• Create temporary works drawings and site design drawings.
• Develop job safety analysis and coordinate with site teams.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and prepare work requisitions.
• Prepare technical and commercial comparison sheets and manage payments.
• Prepare material submittals and track deliveries and invoicing.
