Job summary

Absolute Jobs Oostende is seeking a Sheet Metal Worker for our client in the DIKSMUIDE area. You will operate and set up laser cutting, bending and rolling machines in the sheet metal department, contributing to efficient production.

The role includes preparing programs, checking machines, handling stock, deburring and quality control, and moving sheets with a forklift. On-site position with opportunities to develop skills and training.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up machines for laser cutting, bending and rolling sheet metal.
• Prepare programs and machine settings and check that the machines are functioning correctly.
• Receive incoming sheets, check stock and enter the information into the system.
• Ensure the proper finishing of parts, including deburring and quality control.
• Independently move sheets and finished parts using a forklift.
• Flexibly deployed within the sheet metal department according to the needs of the planning.

As a PLATE WORKER in the DIKSMUIDE area, your responsibilities will include:

• You will be flexibly deployed within the sheet metal department according to the needs of the planning;
• You operate and set up machines for laser cutting, bending and rolling sheet metal;
• You prepare the necessary programs and machine settings and check that the machines are functioning correctly;
• You perform some basic administrative tasks, such as receiving incoming sheets, checking stock and entering the information into the system;
• You ensure the proper finishing of the parts, including deburring and quality control;
• You independently move sheets and finished parts using a forklift.
